At Class House Electronics, we strive to ensure every customer is satisfied with their purchase. However, because we deal mainly in electronics and home appliances, our refund and return policy is designed to be fair to both the customer and the business while complying with Ghanaian consumer protection practices.
General Return Window
- You may request a return or exchange within 7 days from the date of delivery or collection (for in-store purchases).
- For some promotional or clearance items, the return window may be shorter (clearly stated on the product page).
- All returns must be reported within 7 days after purchase by calling or WhatsApping +233 598 902 908 or emailing [email protected].
Conditions for Returns or Exchanges
A return or exchange is only accepted if all the following conditions are met:
- The product is unused, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition (no scratches, dents, or signs of use).
- All accessories, manuals, warranty cards, and original tags are included.
- You provide proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or order number).
- The product is not a special order, customised, or installed item (unless it is proven faulty upon delivery).
Important Note:
Once an air conditioner, refrigerator, washing machine, gas cooker, or any appliance has been installed or used, it is generally non-returnable except in cases of manufacturing defects covered by warranty.s.
When Refunds Are Issued
We offer refunds only in the following situations:
- The item received is significantly different from what was ordered (wrong model or specification).
- The product has a manufacturing defect discovered within 48 hours of delivery (before installation).
- The product was damaged during delivery (and the damage is confirmed by our delivery team or upon inspection).
In approved refund cases:
- Refund will be processed to the original payment method (Mobile Money, Bank Transfer, or Cash).
- Refunds are usually completed within 5–10 working days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
- Delivery/Installation fees are non-refundable.
Exchange Policy
If the product is eligible for return, we can offer an exchange for the same or a different item of equal or higher value (you pay the price difference if higher).
Non-Refundable Items
The following items cannot be refunded or returned unless they are faulty:
- Opened or used electronics (TVs, speakers, gadgets)
- Installed appliances (ACs, washing machines, cookers, etc.)
- Clearance, promotional, or discounted items (unless faulty)
- Products without original packaging or proof of purchase
Warranty vs Return
- Most products come with a manufacturer’s warranty (usually 1 year).
- Warranty covers manufacturing defects after the 7-day return window.
- For warranty claims, we will repair or replace the product according to the manufacturer’s terms. This is not a refund.
- We assist customers with warranty processing at our branches.
How to Initiate a Return

- Our team will guide you on the next steps and may arrange for inspection or collection.
- Return the item to any Class House branch (preferably the branch from which it was purchased) or as instructed by our team.
- Once we inspect and approve the return, we will process your refund or exchange.
Damaged or Faulty Items on Delivery
- Inspect your item carefully immediately upon delivery.
- If the product is damaged or faulty on arrival, do not accept it from the delivery person and contact us right away with photos.
- We will arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
